We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting a baby! We are all so excited, and can’t wait to meet this new little life that God is creating and forming. Preston is just excited that he’s still the oldest. Lilly Katherine is a ball of giggles, and AnnaLeigh is convinced I’m having “2 boys and a girl!” (She better be wrong about that one!)
The question everyone has asked, “Is it another January baby?” I can’t believe it, but YES!
- Preston – Jan 2
- AnnaLeigh – Jan 5
- New Baby – Jan 25 (due date, but all 3 kids have been early)
- Let me also remind you that Brad’s birthday is Dec 21
- Christmas is Dec 25
- SO that’s 4 birthdays and Christmas in ONE month! CRAZY!!
- Then there’s sweet Lilly Katherine in August…thank goodness.
The birth date isn’t important. The important thing is that we are blessed beyond measure to have another little maniac in our home. We do not find out what we’re having and we do not discuss names, because we like everything to be a wonderful fun surprise when the baby is born. Yeah, we’re weird. :)
If you think about it, pray for our new little one. Pray for health, happiness, and that this little life will love the Lord with all his/her heart, soul, mind, and strength. (And maybe throw in a prayer for a perfectly compliant and obedient child…haha) We really would covet your prayers for this little life.

Lord, thank you for blessing us beyond what we could have ever hoped or dreamed. Thank you for trusting me enough to think that I can handle another maniac running through this house. Thank you for giving me a husband who is excited with me, and families that are supportive. Thank you for giving us 2 sweet girls that will be little mamas and a protective big brother. Thank you for blessing us with this opportunity to love one of your little children.
Please help me to know how love this baby the way it needs to be loved, care for this baby the way it needs to be cared for, and discipline this baby in the way most effective for this child. Please, Lord, give this child your Godly wisdom and discernment to walk in your ways. I pray that this baby will be healthy spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Lord, please form a precious little package inside of me. Thank you! Thank you for making me a MOTHER! Thank you for the father that you have given my children and what an amazing example he is to all of them.
Thank you, Lord! Thank you for this child. I love it already!
