Rodeo Round-Up

Lilly Katherine had Rodeo Round-Up a few weeks ago, but I’m late posting the pics.  She was precious as she sang.  She’s my little performer (surprise, surprise.)

My sweet nephew Caleb performed, too.  His daddy was so proud.  Good job, buddy!

After the performances, I looked over and saw this…my mom and my sis wiping tears away.  We cry at everything.  This is proof that it doesn’t take much to make our eyes all misty.  Notice Alan’s smirk.  He’s thinking, “Really, is this tear-worthy?”

After the big kids sang, the little kids wanted to take a picture.

They really do love each other.

We told them to stand next to the goose.  They thought we wanted them to KISS the goose.  They were going down the wall kissing the goose and all the little ducks on the mural.

Next we got to pet all kinds of little animals.  The girls LOVED it.  I’ll be honest, it grossed me out a little, but I’m trying to get over my disgust of petting zoos.

Pinky LOVED this little goat.  I think this little goat loved her, too.

Then LK got to ride a horse. Preston was never a fan of the horses at Rodeo Round-Up, but my big girl loved them.

Lilly Katherine had several sweet friends in her class this year.  Here are a few little cowgirls.

Next she had story time.  She was listening so intently.  It’s neat to see how my maniacs act outside of our home.  Most of the time, it’s very different…thank the LORD!

When Rodeo Round-Up was over, we went to the parking lot to take a pic of LK and Caleb.  The kids had just as much fun in the parking lot as they did at Rodeo Round-Up.

My sister and I are so blessed that our babies love each other.  They just giggled and sang.

They found this pole and went around and around and around and around!

What a blast!  Then these maniacs tried it.  They were not quite as successful, but pretty cute trying to figure it out.

Look at this sweet face. I love him so much, I forget he’s not really mine.

What a fun day!  I sure do love my little cowgirl!
