2.8.11: She sang “Onward Christian soldiers, marching as to war, with the cross of Jesus, I’ll be on in four!” (Real words are “with the cross of Jesus, going on before.”) Close, but not quite.

2.9.11: “Chrysanthemum, Chrysanthemum, let down your long hair!” She realized she said it wrong, but couldn’t figure out why. I reminded her that Chrysanthemum was the book we like to read, and Repunzel was the girl who let down her long hair. “Oooooh…yeah.”

January (sometime): “Mama, it’s funny that Unka Taylor lives in Unkahoma!”
