A new year, a new chance to be a new person. It seems like every year (since birth) I’ve had the same New Year’s Resolutions.
#1 Stop picking my fingernails
#2 Get organized
#3 Stay organized
#4 Go to bed earlier
#5 Eat better or exercise (I see no need for both)
Every.Single.Year!!!
Since I have obviously failed miserably every year, I’ve decided to go to the root of the problem…TV! My New Year’s Resolution is simple this year…NO TV! I have a few exceptions, but simply said, I am not allowed to touch the remote. In order to set an attainable goal, I’ve committed to no TV for the month of January.
If I cut out the useless, mind-numbing, waste of time that fills my head with nothing positive, I will have time to blog, to sleep, to play “words with friends”, to exercise, to spend time with my husband, to do laundry, and to be the kind of mom my babies need.
For the past 3 years we’ve made New Year’s Pancakes. We looked a little rough this morning. Okay, a lot rough!
Truett and Caleb are my sister’s kids…and my babies’ best friends in the world!
