LK: “Mama, what does A-T-M spell?”
Me: “It’s a machine called an ATM machine and it stands for Automated Teller Machine.”
LK: “What is that?”
Me: “Well, it’s a machine that gives you money…if you have any money in the bank.”
LK: “We have money in the bank, don’t we? Daddy collects money. Daddy has a money collection. Kind of like Samuel’s bug collection, but Daddy has a money collection. And Samuel’s bug died.”
Me: “Yes, just like that.”
.
I don’t know where Brad’s stashing this “money collection” but I would sure like to see it. I think it’s probably buried under the “money tree” i thought my parents had.

(If you’ve read germ post #1 and #2 of this week, you’re brave to come back to the site. There will be another germ-filled story tomorrow. Thanks for hanging in there with me and my phobia!)
Your blog was recommended to me by one of my husband’s childhood friends: Houston Blankenship. This post about your daughter’s definition of a roach made me laugh. Thanks! :)
