My license expired on my birthday, so I went to the DPS to get it renewed.\u00a0 That\u2019s not a place I would like to hang out on my birthday\u2026or any other day for that matter.\u00a0 It didn\u2019t smell pleasant, and there was a lovely line.<\/span><\/h3>\n

I didn\u2019t think I needed to have a new picture made, but the lady said I did.\u00a0 When I finished she looked at my picture and then looked at me and said,<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u201cMaybe you should have done yourself up a little more.\u00a0 This is going to be your picture for the next 6 years.\u00a0 Happy Birthday!\u201d <\/span><\/h3>\n

I just laughed, because I was in shock that she actually verbalized what should have been inner dialog.\u00a0 I guess her filter wasn\u2019t working that day.\u00a0 It happens to the best of us!\u00a0 Which reminds me of a verse I love, but have a hard time remembering,<\/span><\/h3>\n

My Passport picture is also HORRIBLE!\u00a0 When I had my picture made, the lady at Kinko’s told me I wasn’t supposed to smile.\u00a0 My Passport photo looks like a bad mug shot.\u00a0 It’s so bad that when anyone in our family wants to laugh about something, they say, “Hey, do the face Mama made in her passport picture.”\u00a0 Then everyone does it and the whole family starts laughing.\u00a0 Good times!\u00a0 So now my only two forms of picture identification are horribly embarrassing.\u00a0 I guess I better stay out of trouble…and stay in the country. <\/span><\/h3>\n

No, I will not post them on here! :) <\/span><\/h3>\n

My hope is that when I renew my license or Passport in the future, that these pictures disappear forever.\u00a0 Unlike this college ID that I like to use as blackmail sometimes. <\/span><\/h3>\n
