My name is Kate.\u00a0 I\u2019m blessed to have an amazing husband and four precious maniacs.\u00a0 This is the blog of our crazy, wonderful life!<\/span><\/p>\n

I am a stay-at-home mom and real estate agent.\u00a0 My husband, Brad, is definitely the hard working agent of the family.\u00a0 Read more about our business under the \u201cReal Estate\u201d tab.<\/span><\/p>\n

I love God, my hubby, my babies, my family, good food, good company, and good times!\u00a0 I love my friends, and I\u2019ve been more than blessed with solid, life-long friends!<\/span><\/p>\n

Brad and I were high school sweethearts (actually 5th grade sweethearts, but that\u2019s a story for another time).\u00a0 We live in the town in which we grew up, and we\u2019re so fortunate to have most of our family here, too.<\/span><\/p>\n

Being a wife and a mom is an incredible responsibility.\u00a0 It\u2019s challenging, rewarding, important, and fun.\u00a0 I consider it a gift and a privilege, but that doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s easy.<\/span><\/p>\n

A married woman who manages her household, esp. as her principal occupation.<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

Webster\u2019s definition is quite suitable.\u00a0 I am proud to be a housewife, and it is my principal occupation.\u00a0 However, I am not \u201cThe Real Housewife\u201d that you see portrayed on TV today, and I have no desire to be.<\/span><\/p>\n

God gives us an amazing picture of \u201cThe Real Housewife\u201d in Proverbs 31:10-31<\/a>.\u00a0 This Real Housewife is an excellent wife and mother.\u00a0 She is a woman that is noble, prepared, industrious, hard working (in and out of the home), wise, intuitive, caring, loving, and beautiful from within.\u00a0 What a woman!\u00a0 I don\u2019t come close to this, but I am constantly reminding myself of this picture that God has given me.<\/span><\/p>\n

11<\/sup> Her husband has full confidence in her
\nand lacks nothing of value.<\/span><\/h3>\n

\nall the days of her life.<\/span><\/h3>\n

13<\/sup> She selects wool and flax
\nand works with eager hands.<\/span><\/h3>\n

14<\/sup> She is like the merchant ships,
\nbringing her food from afar.<\/span><\/h3>\n

15<\/sup> She gets up while it is still dark;
\nshe provides food for her family
\nand portions for her servant girls.<\/span><\/h3>\n

16<\/sup> She considers a field and buys it;
\nout of her earnings she plants a vineyard.<\/span><\/h3>\n

17<\/sup> She sets about her work vigorously;
\nher arms are strong for her tasks.<\/span><\/h3>\n

18<\/sup> She sees that her trading is profitable,
\nand her lamp does not go out at night.<\/span><\/h3>\n

19<\/sup> In her hand she holds the distaff
\nand grasps the spindle with her fingers.<\/span><\/h3>\n

20<\/sup> She opens her arms to the poor
\nand extends her hands to the needy.<\/span><\/h3>\n

21<\/sup> When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
\nfor all of them are clothed in scarlet.<\/span><\/h3>\n

\nshe is clothed in fine linen and purple.<\/span><\/h3>\n

\nwhere he takes his seat among the elders of the land.<\/span><\/h3>\n

24<\/sup> She makes linen garments and sells them,
\nand supplies the merchants with sashes.<\/span><\/h3>\n

25<\/sup> She is clothed with strength and dignity;
\nshe can laugh at the days to come.<\/span><\/h3>\n

26<\/sup> She speaks with wisdom,
\nand faithful instruction is on her tongue.<\/span><\/h3>\n

27<\/sup> She watches over the affairs of her household
\nand does not eat the bread of idleness.<\/span><\/h3>\n

28<\/sup> Her children arise and call her blessed;
\nher husband also, and he praises her:<\/span><\/h3>\n
