Hello!\u00a0 My name is Kate, and this is my blog.\u00a0 I do exist, but the more I want to put on the old blog, the more I have going on, and the less likely it is that I will actually post anything.\u00a0 I feel like I just can’t catch up!\u00a0 Sooooo, instead of doing the 43 loads of laundry that await my tired body, I will sit and post my baby’s birthday party.<\/p>\n

First, let me say that somehow we have a touch of the stomach bug again!\u00a0 It’s nothing like the horrible one<\/a> we had a few weeks ago, but it’s vomit nonetheless!<\/p>\n

Anyway!<\/p>\n

AnnaLeigh’s birthday was in January, but she wanted to have a party outside.\u00a0 I told her we had to wait until it warmed up a bit, so we waited 3 months. :)\u00a0 My sister’s son, Truett, is 5 weeks younger than AnnaLeigh, and we have learned that combined parties are best for everyone!<\/p>\n

Last year we had a Hello Kitty Dumptruck party<\/a>.\u00a0 The year before that we had a Very Hungry Caterpillar party<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year, we again asked the kids what they wanted.\u00a0 AnnaLeigh wanted a Mickey Mouse party.\u00a0 Truett wanted a train party.<\/p>\n

Hmmm.<\/p>\n

A Mickey Mouse Train party it is.\u00a0 The themes are getting a little hard to combine.<\/p>\n

Ashley and I decided that life is crazy and we needed simple this time.\u00a0 We just had a few friends, mostly our regular Sonic group, join us at Sonic on Friday afternoon for some happy hour drinks and cake.\u00a0 Pretty fancy, I tell ya!<\/p>\n

It was the perfect day.\u00a0 The perfect place to have a party.\u00a0 The perfect time to celebrate their birthdays…even if it was a few months late.\u00a0 We had a blast!\u00a0 Here are a few pics.<\/p>\n

This little maniac has decided that this is her new smile.\u00a0 Pursed lips and sassier than ever!\u00a0 Such a mess!<\/p>\n

My sister made the Birthday Crossing sign and the cute food train.\u00a0 The train had had a coal car (Coco puffs), a log car (long pretzel sticks), a gravel car (tator tots), a produce car (cuties), an animal car (animal crackers) and a favor car (little Mickey pops).\u00a0 I will post the recipe for the Mickey pops later this week…hopefully.<\/p>\n

I was teasing with Georgia and hurt her feelings.\u00a0 It was so pitiful, but it resulted in a few minutes of sweet hugs and love.\u00a0 I love those sweet little cheeks and tiny little hands!<\/p>\n

My funny grandmother, Memama, and the birthday girl.\u00a0 We are so thankful that she is here and we get to see her every week.\u00a0 It is so special for Memama to be able to attend all these crazy birthday parties.<\/p>\n

My Pinky loved her cake…which made me happy!\u00a0 She ate every bite, of course.<\/p>\n

Sweet Truett couldn’t wait to get the train engine.\u00a0 It was all marshmallow fondant and food coloring.\u00a0 He ate the whole thing!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Crazy girl!\u00a0 I love you more than you will ever know.\u00a0 You certainly keep me smiling and keep my on my toes…and keep me humble!\u00a0 I love everything about you.<\/p>\n

You are a leader already, and the Lord can use you in mighty ways.\u00a0 Allow him to lead you and let his love spill out of you.<\/p>\n

People listen to you.\u00a0 Speak words of love and kindness and truth.\u00a0 Be a good friend and look for friends that are wise.\u00a0 Make wise decisions.\u00a0 Love your sisters and your brother.\u00a0 Listen to your mama and daddy.\u00a0 Give everyone the respect that you want.<\/p>\n

I am proud of the little maniac that you are becoming.\u00a0 I love watching you learn and grow every single day.\u00a0 You make me smile.\u00a0 You have my heart.<\/p>\n
