We had our annual church Easter Egg Hunt and Potluck Lunch<\/a> this past weekend…always a fav for my fam!\u00a0 It was so much fun!\u00a0 My sister and I decided to stick around and take a few family pics after the festivities were over.<\/p>\n

What do you get when you have 7 tired children who have been at church for 5 hours all dressed in their Sunday best- running around sweating and hunting Easter Eggs and playing with their friends and eating Easter candy? (besides a run-on sentence?)<\/p>\n

You get pictures that look like this…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>and this…my goodness, this was the only smile AnnaLeigh would give me.\u00a0 It’s FRIGHTENING!\u00a0 She’s in that lovely awkward stage of trying to find her “picture” smile.\u00a0 We haven’t mastered it yet.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Of course, I sat my sister’s kids down and told them to smile.\u00a0 I took 3 pics.\u00a0 They were all perfect!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Here are the pictures from our day.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>AnnaLeigh just picked up all the eggs that were falling out of the bigger kids’ baskets.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Lilly Katherine was so thrilled that she had a shiny egg.\u00a0 With a smile on her face, she kindly donated an egg or two to children that didn’t have many.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Preston had a strategy on how to get the most eggs.\u00a0 He ran to the back and worked his way forward instead of starting where everyone else was.\u00a0 My little analytical planner.\u00a0 I love this type-A kid!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>While these 2 were busy taking inventory…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>These 3 maniacs were messing with a caterpillar.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Sidenote:\u00a0 I literally hate worms of any kind more than anything!\u00a0 I cannot look at these pictures because it makes me GAG!\u00a0 The picture above and below I had to post without really looking at them because it makes me have the heebie-jeebies!\u00a0 I HATE worms.\u00a0 Oh, I just got a full body shiver just typing that!\u00a0 AGH!\u00a0 These pics gross me out!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Sidenote #2:\u00a0 My children think these things are called cal-a-pillas.\u00a0 They also all three say cim-a-non, which has nothing to do with this post, but I love little words like that and I don’t correct them.\u00a0 I will one day.\u00a0 Not today.<\/p>\n

Here’s my handsome hubby!<\/p>\n

I feel like he should have a “Senior 2012”<\/em><\/strong> stamped in gold at the bottom of this picture.\u00a0 Except it would say “Senior ’96!!!”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Ok, well there’s this one, but let me point out a few things…<\/p>\n

Brad has a pacifier on his finger.<\/p>\n

LK is holding an egg, which she informed me today she did that on purpose so we would know this picture was from Easter.<\/p>\n

AnnaLeigh is looking sassy as usual with her hands on her hips.<\/p>\n

Georgia is screaming.<\/p>\n

My face is round like Kelly Kapowski’s in the later days of Saved by the Bell.\u00a0 You know what I’m talking about!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Moving on.<\/p>\n

My skinny sister and our baby girls…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>My maniacs…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The whole crew…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>My beautiful blue-eyed baby girl!<\/p>\n
