Every New Year’s Eve we hang out with my sister’s in-laws (Alan’s parents) and we ring in the new year at their house.\u00a0 We’ve gone there since I was pregnant with Preston.\u00a0 This year, we will be attending a wonderful wedding for a precious, fun, and very deserving woman, Morgan…YAY! :)<\/p>\n

Since New Year’s Day is on a Sunday, we are going to push our annual Pancake Breakfast to Monday morning, which is actually Preston’s birthday.\u00a0 We’ll have the whole family over (or anyone willing to wake up and join us for brunch), and make our annual “YEAR” pancakes, plus celebrate my baby’s birthday…2 birds with one stone!\u00a0 Since we’ll be doing it on Monday, I thought I would post past pics of 2009, 2010, 2011.\u00a0 I’ll post 2012 next week.<\/p>\n

This is such an easy, fun tradition that the kids love, and I love seeing how much they change from year to year.<\/p>\n

The pancakes are no work of art.<\/p>\n

The kids are a sleepy, pj-wearing mess.<\/p>\n

That’s the way New Year’s morning is supposed to be!<\/p>\n
