Some days are uneventful and smooth.<\/p>\n

Some days are not.<\/p>\n

Today has been fairly uneventful, but I’ve had lots of “fun” challenges with a certain 2 year old lately.<\/p>\n

She has decided…<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. that she should talk like a baby that is just learning <\/em>to talk.\u00a0 (fun)<\/li>\n
  2. that she should throw a fit at EVERY.SINGLE.THING i say.\u00a0 (good times)<\/li>\n
  3. that she should be held at all times, and that walking will result in challenge #2.\u00a0 (much fun with this huge pregnant belly that already feels like it’s going to bust open at any second!)<\/li>\n
  4. that she should whine at me with any need she has, instead of making requests in the form of a question or an actual REQUEST.\u00a0 (let me tell you how this grates my nerves)<\/li>\n
  5. that she should PEE and POOP in her pants again.\u00a0 That is something I’m not a huge fan of<\/a>…in case you don’t remember.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Today…<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/a>Look at that cute little belly.\u00a0 At first glance I’m sure all you see is a cute, sweet, little angel.\u00a0 On second glance you notice that there is a naked child in a pull-up (that has been potty trained for 5 months)…in a grocery cart…in a parking lot…in the rain.<\/p>\n

    She’s looking at the pee still left in the seat of the shopping cart.\u00a0 We were shopping when she said “I need to tee-tee.”\u00a0 Literally seconds later she stood up in the buggy, turned around, squatted, and peed all over my groceries, the cart, the floor, herself.\u00a0 Oh, I was NOT HAPPY!!!\u00a0 It took a great deal of strength to remain under control as I cleaned urine off the floor of the grocery store with little napkins.\u00a0 My friend Meredith was trying not to laugh as she handed me anti-bac wipes.\u00a0 I was NOT laughing.<\/p>\n

    This isn’t an isolated incident.\u00a0 She is having accidents every day lately.\u00a0 I had already changed a poo-poo accident before my coffee kicked in this morning.\u00a0 It’s not that I’m not taking her to the bathroom, it’s that she’s choosing to go elsewhere, and choosing to keep her mama CRAZY!!!<\/p>\n

    When she realized I was taking a picture of her, she just looked up and smiled “real innocent and pretty.”<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/a>It’s a good thing she’s so cute!\u00a0 It’s a good thing I love her so stinkin’ much!\u00a0 In fact, just seeing that picture of her makes me smile despite the incident.<\/p>\n

    I’m posting this now, because I have another post I was working on, but I needed to get this morning out of the way before I could post about my Thanksgiving Tree! :)\u00a0 I am truly thankful for this little maniac.\u00a0 I’m not so thankful for urine on my groceries!<\/p>\n

    Happy Monday…oh yeah, it’s Tuesday.<\/p>\n
