board.\u00a0 You can&#8217;t get much better than that!<\/p>\n<p>I love to cook fish.\u00a0 Salmon is probably my most favorite, but it&#8217;s not the cheapest fish at the grocery store.\u00a0 This recipe for grilled tilapia won&#8217;t break the bank and it&#8217;s one we&#8217;ve enjoyed several times recently.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Grilled Tilapia with Papaya-Avocado Salsa<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>You will need:<\/p>\n<p>6 Tilapia Filets, Cilantro, Papaya, Avocado, Limes, Olive Oil, Cumin, Coriander, Paprika, Red Pepper, and Salt<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/therealhousewife.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/tilapia-papaya-avocado-salsa-017.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" Coriander, Paprika, Salt, and Red Pepper in a small bowl.\u00a0 The red pepper adds quite a punch, so use it sparingly if you have little maniacs eating with you.\u00a0 (Yes, I know that from more delicate than some fish, and it makes me want to lose my mind when half of it falls through the grill grate.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t have a flat grill pan, so I just make a redneck grill pan out of foil.\u00a0 Easy to grill, easy to clean.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/therealhousewife.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/tilapia-papaya-avocado-salsa-055.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2991\" title=\"tilapia papaya-avocado salsa 055\" it&#8217;s mild and it was on SALE!\u00a0 Halibut, orange roughy, any mild fish will work, so choose the fish you prefer.\u00a0 I prefer the least expensive&#8230;therefore, tilapia it is!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Place your tilapia on your grill pan or redneck grill pan.\u00a0 Brush both sides with a small amount of olive oil.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t let it drip in olive oil.\u00a0 Fish has it&#8217;s own oils, so you don&#8217;t need much.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Brush half of the spice mixture on the top of the fish.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/therealhousewife.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/tilapia-papaya-avocado-salsa-060.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2992\" prepared grill.\u00a0 Grill at low-medium until it flakes easily with a fork.\u00a0 Grills vary so much, but on my grill it takes about 10 minutes.\u00a0 I like my fish cooked through but not prepare the papaya-avocado salsa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Peel the papaya (If papaya freaks you out, mango would be delicious also.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a would be BEAUTIFUL with this and it would add another layer of flavor.\u00a0 Unfortunately, we don&#8217;t love purple onion&#8230;but add it if you do!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a ground coriander, cumin, paprika, salt, and red pepper in a bowl.\u00a0 Mix well.\u00a0 Divide mixture in half.\u00a0 Place tilapia (or fish of choice) on a grill pan or make your own grill pan with foil.\u00a0 Brush both sides of fish with a small amount of olive oil.\u00a0 Brush half of the spice mixture on the top side of fish.\u00a0 Place grill pan on heated grill.\u00a0 Grill on medium-low heat for about 10 minutes or until flakes easily with a fork.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">As fish is cooking, peel, seed, and dice papaya and avocado.\u00a0 Chop cilantro.\u00a0 Add papaya, avocado, and cilantro to a bowl.\u00a0 Add reserved spice mixture and juice from one small lime (about 1 1\/2 Tbsp).\u00a0 Fold ingredients to combine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Serve
