Today my sweet hubby and I celebrate our 11 year anniversary!\u00a0 Words can simply not express how blessed I am to be married to this wonderful man.\u00a0 He is the perfect man for me, and I am so thankful that God allowed him to be my husband.<\/p>\n

(Side note:\u00a0 My scanner is not working, so most of these pics are pictures of pictures I photographed using my phone, hence the POOR quality.)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>(First Date, Homecoming…October 8, 1994.\u00a0 I’m sitting on Brad’s knee, and that large thing on my chest is a MUM.\u00a0 If you’re not from Texas you may not be familiar.\u00a0 I’ll have to explain it at another time.)<\/em><\/p>\n

We have a great marriage.\u00a0 It requires work, and it’s not always easy, but it’s a great marriage.\u00a0 I am married to a man that I love with all my heart!<\/p>\n

Brad is the most Christ-like person I have ever known and he embodies the fruits of the Spirit.\u00a0 He is full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, goodness, and self-control.<\/p>\n

He loved me then.\u00a0 He loves me now.\u00a0 He’ll love me in the future.\u00a0 He is the most loyal person I’ve ever known.\u00a0 Loyal almost to a fault, and I love him for it.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>(Colorado with Brad’s parent’s…August 1999)<\/em><\/p>\n

He is joyful, although he would tell you it doesn’t come naturally.\u00a0 I would never know that, and I know him pretty well.<\/p>\n

He is a peace-maker.\u00a0 He doesn’t thrive on confrontation as his wife sometimes does, but he’s able to let things roll off his back.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>(FIRST Anniversary…June 2001)<\/p>\n

He is one of the most patient people I’ve ever known (other than his father).\u00a0 He is steady, easy-going, and not easily rattled.\u00a0 He is patient with the world’s most frustrating and slowest person…me! :)\u00a0 He learned on our first date, when I was 30 minutes late, that patience would need to be a virtue of his. :)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>(Grand Cayman, Swimming with Sting Rays…September 2002)<\/em><\/p>\n

He is kind.\u00a0 Kind like no other man.\u00a0 Kind in situations when no one else would be.\u00a0 I think this goes hand in hand with the patience thing.\u00a0 I think this helps him to be a wonderful Real Estate Agent…patience and kindness…two things that are hard to come by in that industry.<\/p>\n

He is so gentle.\u00a0 He would rather not spank his little girls to discipline them.\u00a0 It’s usually his mean wife that’s yelling, “Babe, you have to discipline them for that!”\u00a0 He would rather give hugs than punishments.\u00a0 I’m thankful he creates balance in our family.<\/p>\n

He is faithful to the Lord.\u00a0 He is faithful to me.\u00a0 He is faithful to his babies.\u00a0 He is faithful to his parents and to mine.\u00a0 He is faithful to our church.\u00a0 He is faithful to his clients.\u00a0 He is a faithful man!\u00a0 He does his part, and he does it with his heart.\u00a0 Again, he is loyal!<\/p>\n

He is good.\u00a0 He is wise, and he knows right from wrong.\u00a0 He makes good decisions and he’s a righteous man.\u00a0 Not a self-righteous man, but a righteous one.\u00a0 He just makes good choices (as in choosing his wife!) :)<\/p>\n

He has more self-control in his pinky than I have in my whole body.\u00a0 He is disciplined, driven, and able to say no when he knows he needs to.<\/p>\n

Let’s just say, we make a good team.\u00a0 He’s the good one and he balances all my bad.\u00a0 I am truly the most blessed woman in the world.\u00a0 I am thankful to have been married to this jewel of a man for 11 wonderful years (plus about 6 dating years) and he makes me a better wife, mom, woman!<\/p>\n
