When I was a kid, my most favorite “album” was Down by the Creekbank, and my MOST FAVORITE song was,\u00a0 “Germs, Germs, My Invisible Dog.”\u00a0 I sang it often.\u00a0 I sang it loud and proud!\u00a0 I still remember every word, and think of it all the time.<\/p>\n

.<\/p>\n

We have a few great cassette tapes from when I was a kid, on which I recorded many songs and deep thoughts.\u00a0 The tapes are very incriminating, and my brother and sister now have proof of a few <\/em>manipulative, not-very-kind, older sister moments.\u00a0 We get a good laugh about all of them now, but I truly see LK in everything I say on the tapes…from singing at the top of my lungs to screaming at my brother for touching the button on the tape recorder which messed up my beautiful singing.<\/p>\n

This story isn’t horrible, but it just gives you a good example of how care-free my middle child is.\u00a0 She is always looking for an opportunity to have fun.\u00a0 Lilly Katherine is a joyful little woman, with not a care in the world.\u00a0 (Side note: I TRULY thank the Lord so often that she is so full of life and full of joy!\u00a0 It is so much fun to raise a child that finds joy in everything!)<\/p>\n

A few weeks ago we were eating at a local restaurant.\u00a0 LK and I had to run to the restroom.\u00a0 We were in a large stall together and she asked me what a somersault was.\u00a0 A smart mom would have said, “I’ll show you later.”\u00a0 I, however, began explaining, “You know, a somersault is where you put your hands on the ground and then your head, then you flip over.”<\/p>\n

Before I knew it, that child had her hands down, head on the ground, and was doing a somersault on the floor of the public bathroom stall.\u00a0 Due to my excessive screaming, she stopped mid-roll.<\/p>\n

Then she was confused when I told her she had to wash her hands.\u00a0 She hadn’t touched anything.\u00a0 My sweet thing is OUT OF CONTROL! :)<\/p>\n
